Royal Jelly
Royal Jelly is made by bees to feed their young and is the sole food for the queen bee throughout her life. Thriving on this diet, the queen bee will live as long as five years, or fifty times longer than the average worker bee. Each day of her extraordinary life she will lay more than 1500 eggs, ensuring the survival of the hive. Propolis
Bees make propolis by collecting the sap of conifers and poplar trees and mixing it with wax and bee secretions. This strong, dark, and sticky substance has been used by people as an ingredient in everything from violin varnish to toothpaste. Bees use it to line the surfaces of the hive, filling in small gaps that might allow parasites to enter and sealing over surfaces where bacteria might compromise the health of the hive. Bee Pollen
Bees collect pollen as well as nectar from the flowers they visit. The pollen that is brought back to the hive is mixed with bee secretions and formed into granules that are used as food by the bees. Bee pollen varies naturally based on the floral sources the bees frequented most. GloryBee offers several varieties of bee pollen to suit individual preferences. All our pollen is slowly dried at low temperatures to preserve its nutrients without destroying natural enzymes.
